An Indian drugs manufacturer is to strongly object to Sri Lanka’s decision to ban the import of certain drugs from India. Kilitch Drugs India Ltd will file strong objection to this order through the India Embassy or other suitable forums, the Indian media reported.

The Health Ministry of Sri Lanka has ordered the recall of certain drugs made by 5 manufacturers from India. The health Ministry has banned these 5 suppliers for a period of 2 years.
